Members of the Coastal Resources Commission and Coastal Resources Advisory Council serve on one of two standing committees. The Ocean Hazard Areas Committee focuses deal primarily on issues related to AECs in that category:  ocean erodible area, high hazard flood area, inlet hazard area, and unvegetated beach area. The Estuarine & Ocean Systems Committee focuses primarily on issues related to AECs within that category: coastal wetlands, estuarine waters, public trust areas, and coastal shorelines.
