Resources is developing plans that would help protect and restore resources critical to
North Carolina's commercial and recreational fisheries.

County landowners who sought to exclude the public from the beach in front of their homes.

The rule exempts single-family houses in the High-Hazard Flood Area of
Environmental Concern from CAMA permit requirements. This AEC covers coastal areas
adjacent to the ocean that are subject to storm flooding.
