Coastal Resources Commission To Meet August 25 & 26 in Raleigh
RALEIGH The N.C. Coastal Resources Commission will hear an overview of public comments on the draft Coastal Habitat Protection Plan at its August meeting in Raleigh. The comments come from 10 public meetings held throughout the state this summer. The Divisions of Marine Fisheries, Coastal Management and Water Quality are developing the CHPP to protect and enhance the states fisheries.
The CRC will meet Wednesday and Thursday, August 25 and 26, at 8:30 a.m. each day, at the Sheraton Capital Center Hotel, 421 South Salisbury St.

The Coastal Resources Advisory Council, a group that provides the CRC with local government perspectives and technical advice, will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, at the Sheraton.
