Running NC Coastal Explorers in Mozilla Firefox

To make sure that the NC Coastal Explorers runs properly on your internet browser, you may need to make need to change the Mozilla popup blocker and tab settings.

Allow NC Coastal Explorers Pop-Ups

To allow pop-ups in Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools > Options:

Then, when the "Options" window opens, click on "Content" at the top of the window.  Under "Content," click on the "Allowed Sites" button:

Type the NC Division of Coastal Management's web address "www.nccoastalmanagement.net" and click on the "Allow" button.  You can then close the "Allowed Sites - Popups" window.

Turning Off Tabs

The NC Coastal Explorers website works best when pop-ups open in new windows rather than in new tabs.  To turn off the tabs option, go to Tools > Options:

When the "Options" window opens, click on "Tabs" at the top of the window.  Then, make sure that the box for "Force links that open new windows to open in:" is not checked:

Now your Mozilla Firefox browser should be set up to run NC Coastal Explorers correctly.
